  • 3) ask your child to tell a story based on the picture
  •  
  • 4) give your child 3 or 4 pieces from a puzzle and ask him/her to determine which puzzle they are from – discuss the visual cues that help with the decision

  • 5) mix up all of the puzzle pieces and have your child sort the pieces into 4 piles by looking at the shapes printed on the backs of the pieces
