Cupcakes - A Favorite Treat and Fun to Make!

Cupcakes are a wonderful little treat for kids - just the perfect size.  These days, there are alot of cupcake shops starting up all over the place offering unique taste and decorations.  When I was a kid, I liked to make chocolate cupcakes with frosting that I would dye with food coloring.  Blue was my favorite color - so they usually were some shade of blue.  They were my pride and joy!  My kids liked to make cupcakes when they were small, but they liked to put sprinkles on the top - the more the better.  The colors would changed based on the nearest holiday.

has lots of ideas and unique flavors and combinations that is beyond the basic chocolate and yellow versions.  They are almost becoming an art form.  I even hear that weddings are now having cupcakes instead of cakes.  How sweet!
